"Wonderful atmosphere! Pros: Extremely professional and excited to see ANYONE skydive! Cons: Smaller facility, might have to have a little patients sometimes for delays, but they will keep you entertained

I felt safe knowing that most of the coaches and instructors have served in some branch of the service. They emphasize the safety precautions, but they manage to keep a strong positive feel. They are very energizing and welcoming. If you decide to take any of their courses, plan on adopting a new family. They become your parents, brothers and sisters. I think it's because you KNOW that they care about you."

"WOW! What a bucket list experience. A 50th birthday gift from my family that started out as an anxiety enriched experience! However, Jim, Tammy, Kevin, the entire staff at Skydive Kentucy made it awesome. They were experienced and knowledgable and made you feel safe "jumping out of a perfectly good airplane!" But more than that, they made it fun! We were 14 stong (7 jumpers) and took over the place all day. Within the first jump, we felt like we had known them for years & they were old friends. It is an experience we will be talking about for years to come and mnay of us already want to do it again! I can't thank the staff at Skydive Kentucky enough for helping me to start the 2nd half of my life with such an unforgettable experience! We'll never forget it!! Sally Heil & the "Skydiving for Sally" group"

"I wanted to extend a "Thank you" out to your entire team. They not only made me feel like one of the team but everyone I spoke with was knowledgable and friendly. It was a great experience and I will definately be back."

"My cousin and I jumped on Aug. 27, 2011. I was a little worried ahead of time because I partially tore my ACL 2 months ago, but Larry and Mike took good care of me and Brad. The landing could not have been any smoother and the experience is one that I will never forget. I've dreamed about it for several nights afterward. You guys are awesome, and as Larry and his wife warned, I absolutely can't wait to jump again. I'm going to jump again as soon as I can! You guys rock! -Ben Grail, Searcy, Arkansas"

"Message: Thank you for an amazing experience! As a middle age woman with a significant fear of heights and an even more significant fear of flying in airplanes, I had no intent of skydiving. But my son and friends had planned this trip and I wanted to watch and take pictures and play a small role in experiencing their joy! But when one friend couldn't come, they all began trying to convince me. Although their pleas were very sweet and even somewhat surprising, it was the encouragement and confidence of your staff and the enthusiasm from other skydivers landing their first jump that added to their encouragement enough to help me decide to go for it! My tandem coach, Mike, was so thoughtful and reassuring, and the whole jump was an amazing experience! My landing wasn't exactly a picture of grace, but Mike did his job and softened it and I was fine. The only part I would change is being more aware of my camera to take a better video, and to let the free fall last a bit longer (I pulled the cord at 6,000 ft. instead of 5,000 ft. - I simply forgot the right number!!) Nonetheless, a great day for me and the kids. Thanks so much!"

"The staff and tandem instructors at SkyDive KY were amazing! Tammy was so friendly, informative, and helpful! Greg and Larry were wonderful tandem instructors -- they were professional and fun. I was surprised at how safe I felt even though I was jumping out of a plane at 10,000 feet. Our pilot was kind and loved showing us photos once we touched down. I can't think of a better place for a first sky dive. Not only seriously considering more jumps, but possibly certification! Thank you!"

"Hello! I just wanted to thank you all for the wonderful experience I had on Saturday. I was blown away (ha!) with the fabulous service and professionalism of your crew. I will be (and have been) giving you guys a RAVE review to everyone I meet and am already saving for my next jump. I am so hooked, I can't believe you guys get to do this for a living! A special Thank you to Jim for not only keeping me at ease but being just over all hilarious and so much fun. Thank you so much. Very Sincerely, Jenn Redmond - Jeffersonville, IN"

"Mike, Greg, and everyone there were great! From the sky you can see the Ohio River, Louisville's airport, and the surrounding farmland. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I had a badly bruised knee from a ski injury and didn't feel any pain at all. I can't wait to do it again"

"I went to Skydive Kentucky with a group of friends, they were all jumping and I was going to watch. After sitting through the instruction with Larry Compton, it was obvious he knew what he was doing and made me feel safe enough to do it. I am so glad I did because it was one of the best days of my life! Greg Compton is an awesome photographer as well as skydiver, so if you go, make sure you save up enough to get the video and pictures, because they are worth every cent!! Everyone there from the front desk to the instructors (especially) to the packers are professional and just all around great people! If you can only do something extraordianary once in your life go out to Skydive, KY and tandem! You will remember it forever!"

"I took my static line course on Sat 4-17-10 but did not get to jump because of high winds. I called the next day and weather was right for static line. I drove up and went through short refresher, geared up, and boarded plane. Care for students was evident throughout the whole time of training, jumping and landing. These guys are professionals. The experience was great and I plan to continue."

"First time I have ever gone skydiving and I am hooked. Jim Moore and Skydive Ky are highly recommended. They took the extra step to make sure all of us were comfortable and well prepared for our jump. Best of all, free BROWNIES on weekends! Thanks everyone at Skydive KY!"

"This was by far the best thing I have ever done! I want to do it over and over! I am not a big money spender, but SKYDIVE KY could very well drain my bank account! I recommend Skydive KY to everyone! Larry was my partner and he is GREAT, very funny, nice, and reassuring!"

"Even though we had to wait a little while to get up because of wind the jump was totally worth the wait! Jim and Des did a great job and I felt safe the whole time. Jim lets you know whats going on the whole time before and during the jump. The jump itself was amazing and the landing couldn't have gone smoother! If your looking for a great place to go sky diving go with Sky Dive Kentucky!!!!!"

"I loved every second I spent at Skydive Kentucky! The faculty could not have been nicer. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable, I wasn't nervous at all once I got there. Jim Moore is incredible and knows exactly what he is doing, he's jumped like a million times. Des is a fantastic pilot and hilarious also, ask him to tell you a story and prepare to laugh! The jump went very smoothly and was so much fun!!! Jim made the landing flawless, I landed softly right on my feet as if I was hopping off a bed. I want to go 100 more times, I recommend Skydive Kentucky any day!!"

"The best dropzone for 150 miles around. Love the Turbines you bring in, keep them coming. Nice Cessna 182, good climber. Im sold! The King Air pilot you had for the specialty aircraft weekend had his game on!"

"My niece jumped on October 21st. The entire staff was professional, friendly and made us feel like we were their most important client. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and explained every thing in detail. We would greatly recommend SKYDIVE KY LLC. Thank you everyone at SKYDIVE KY LLC for a wonderful experience. Best Always."

"Fun jumper in the area for a day, it was freaking cold outside, no tandems were scheduled but we still managed to do 3 loads. Jim to DZO is great, really makes you feel welcome. Facilities are really nice, indoor, heated hangar. Great place to come hang out even if not much jumping is going on."

"Excellent Dropzone. I arrived at 10 am, needed a little help to get my chute repacked and Jim the DZ Owner was there with hands on to help teach me a different way to pack. I like it. From entering the hanger to landing on the Dropzone. Everyone was more than willing to come and talk, help, and just be plain old friendly. The only thing that I can say, is if you are coming from out of town to jump here make sure that you get the beer before you arrive. It is a Dry county down there and the closest beer for first is 20 miles away :). Enjoy and thank you Skydive Kentucky for a couple of "Firsts" that I was willing to pay for :)"

"Went tandem skydiving as a family a little over 2 weeks ago. We all had a great experience all the way around with the people at SkyDiveKY. They were all so nice, patient, and just a real fun, group to be with. They make you feel very comfortable and safe. Not to mention the great fresh baked brownies that were there to snack on! My husband and I jumped with Larry and my son and our friend, with Mike. We got the pictures and videos yesterday. What a fantastic job Greg did on those and now we have hard evidence that we actually did this! People are amazed when we show them the pictures. It was certainly a thrill of a lifetime for all of us for sure! Have be recommending them to everyone we know. You wont be disappointed! Go for it! Thank you again for such a great time!"

"I made a tandem jump in celebration of my birthday. It was the perfect way to kick the year off. To Mike, Nick, Greg and Larry: Kyle and I had a grand time. We have agreed our jumps most def make each of our "Top Ten lists". Words cannot describe how much FUN we had... Thank you Skydive Kentucky!"
   --Lauren Randolph
"Excellent experience!! The staff were terrific and reassuring and very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone who has ever done it before or is doing it for the first time. I have already recommended them to many of my friends who want to try it and it hasn't even been 24hrs since my jump/fall."

"I'm brand new to this sport and got my beginning with my first tandem years ago in New Jersey. I moved around a bit since then and have landed in KY. I went to Skydive KY because they were the closest to me. I first did a tandem with Jim Moore the owner and had a wonderful time. I discussed my desire to get licensed and he talked with me until he ran out of things to say. he answered all of my questions, was very polite and courteous. I have since returned for my license via a staticline progression program. Jim, Rusty, Shawn, Nick, Larry, Bill, Boz, Doc, Aaron, Tammy, and anyone I may have forgotten have made my time there a very worthwhile investment. I cannot wait to continue diving at this fine establishment. I recommend Skydive KY to all who are just the least bit serious about the sport. be it tandem, AFF, or staticline, Skydive will suit your needs!"
   --mightymik8
"I went with a group to do my first tandem, and I have to say my experience got me hooked! I'm planning to take the AFF courses to get my A license. Hilarious staff made the wait bearable. If going, be prepared to wait (up to) several hours due to weather>>good thing though, cause I appreciate not dying. I want to be a jump videographer after going here. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SKYDIVE KENTUCKY!"

"My first time skydiving. The group there was funny and had no problem answering any questions I had. They made it an overall great experience and I will defiantly be going back."

"- I can not say enough about the people and the joking around which kept you loose before the jump - the biggest problem I had was getting out on the wing and letting go of the airplane after that it was exhilarating experience I have ever had and the only thing I could equate it to is flying in the back seat of a fighter jet.thanks for the experience you have an awesome group of people there. Sincerely,"

"WOW- First tandem skydive in my 58 years. Did it with my 18 yr old daughter for her birthday. We were both treated with respect and a calm, caring manner from all the staff. Quick instruction, but plenty of time to have anything repeated to make sure you understand. Jim was our instructor and tandem jump master and I can't say enough about how much he made the experience truly amazing and fun. I'd recommend him and the facility to anyone. Go skydive - it's FUN!"

"After several years away from the sport due to a lot of different reasons I felt it was time to ease back into the sport. I contacted Jim Moore, an old friend from days past, He invited me down to Skydive KY and helped me with everything I needed. He and his staff made my day. They made me feel like I had never been gone. I would highly recommend these folks to anyone wanting to get into this sport. You will not be sorry."

"The staff at Skydive Kentucky were some of the nicest and most congenial people I have been around in a working environment. They made me and my friend feel absolutely comfortable, and made us feel extremely welcome. During our wait to skydive we felt like we were hanging out with a large group of friends. The experience itself was amazing, and like nothing I have ever done before. The instructors made it so easy for us as beginners, and really made the jump unforgettable. The scenery around this drop zone is breathtaking, and you really get a good view of Kentucky landscape. I would recommend this drop zone to anyone and everyone."
   --B Moore
"My experience with Skydive Kentucky was stellar. The staff was friendly and welcoming; the instructors knew exactly what they were doing and were also very friendly. I had no trouble trusting them with my life and well being. They fully explained everything I needed to know and what would happen. The plane ride up was smooth and the views were great! The jump cannot be described in words. Every aspect of my experience at Skydive Kentucky was beyond excellent. I would jump again with them in a second and look forward to possibly pursuing training with them. Skydiving is an amazing experience, and Skydive Kentucky is an amazing place to experience it!"

"To Greg & Larry, Thanks so much for a great time last Friday. You guys really went the extra mile. You helped me make a lifetime memory. That's what I try to do for my students, and you did that for me. The video and photos were excellent. Greg is very good at his job! Larry was a patient and enthusiastic instructor. I can't imagine getting better service or treatment anywhere else. Thanks again to Jim, Tammy and everyone at Skydive Kentucky!"

"A wonderful place to jump! Rule #1- Have fun! Wonderful family environment. Great for students. I never think of stopping at one of the 12 drop zones that I pass to get to Skydive KY. Everyone is equal! No-matter if you are a student, tandem, male or female or experienced with 12,000 jumps. Everyone gets to jump! Well worth the drive!"

"First time to Kentucky and had to find a DZ. First guys I call;not cool. I call Jim, very nice guy he says come on out will jump yeah. Theses guys make you feel like your part of the family. Had a cool time. Thanks Jim, Larry, and Dan! I will be back for another jump. You want to jump in Kentucky this is the DZ. Thanks guys will see yeah again."
   --dzjunky77
"Building from the roots of GCSPC-Bardstown, this new DZ is growing rapidly with the same experienced family of jumpers that made GCSPC the wonderful FAMILY DZ that endured for 40 years. They remain dedicated to the idea that skydiving is supposed to be fun. I was welcomed as family, jumped with some old friends, made some new ones, and hated to leave. This new DZ isn't as "rustic" as the old one, but the upgrades only add to the experience. The burgers aren't bad, either. Definitely worth the trip! Go make some new friends!"
   -- swopsmamma
"WOW! All I can say is that for this to have been my first time ever.Everyone made me feel very relaxed and comfortable! I felt like I have known these guys for years! I will most definitely be back for more jumps! Again another big thanks to Jim, Dan and Larry (who is a great instructor)!! See ya soon guys!"
   --flygirl69
"Jim... thanks for the advice I really appreciate it ... I began my skydiving adventure at Bardstown on a tandem with Shawn and Jeff flew the camera... everyone there was so nice to me and my family that day I decided to learn more... Skydiving is a great community of which to be a part...I dive at TSS and Larry is super to me and my son Josh (he is 25 and has cerebral palsy) Larry and the guys treat him like everyone else and that is a very good thing indeed... he loves to just go and hang at the DZ... everyone there and Jeff as well speak highly of you man... so I really do appreciate the help and the time you give me... Have read articles and talked with people who tell me that at some DZ's low number jumpers like me (@35) are treated poorly... NOT the case at my DZ or Bardstown... nor... I am sure at yours...it is a very cool thing to have people like you, Jeff, Larry and all (and I do mean all) the guys at my DZ to treat me and my son so very well... it is exciting to be a part of this... you guys are great ambassadors for the sport... keep up the good work... and yes you know I will be coming back to you for advice. Hope to get over to your DZ this summer and have you open the door so I can get out ... damn I do love exits [grin] Thanks again Jim"

"Skydive Kentucky is a great place to skydive. They make you feel like you've known them forever, I don't think they've ever met a stranger. It was my first jump and I wasn't nearly as nervous as I figured I would be, they gave me a real since of trust. I can't wait to do it again. Hopefully I get to see them, again real soon. In my opinion skydiving is addicting, I want to do it over and over!"

"I am so happy that this DZ carries on the Bardstown way! I've missed you all over the winter and will be coming out more, so be ready :)"

"My first phone call had the dzo talking to me about how to get there and to make sure to bring beer!! Haha. I spent the night there 2 nights in a row while on business rather than my hotel because I felt very comfortable (and I could have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express). We jumped a lot in one day and was given tons of critiquing on my landings while there was no wind. The DZO, staff and everyone that I encountered were awesome and I cannot wait to make it back again to jump. I am very used to jumping a larger plane but I had a blast jumping their Cessna. Awesome DZ!! I definitely recommend!! Thanks to the DZO Jim, the chef Babs, the LEO Gallagher look-a-like Dan Pagnini (Barefoot Productions), Quigly, Justin, Larry, the Vet (whose name I'm falling short on) and Swoops with the tire... Blue skies (with a hint of cumulus around 2200 feet) DNR"

"Professionalism Vibe Aircraft Facilities Services Location As it was my first time jumping,DZO Jim and cameraman Dan made it all worthwhile to me.I had a great time and think that everyone needs to go to Skydive Ky and try it. Everyone there was so nice to me and made me feel comfortable about my first time jump.It was the biggest rush for me. And I would go there and do it all over again. I highly recommend this place for skydiving and I will go back again as soon as I can.Thank you Jim and Dan for the time of my life that day..."

"This is something I have always wanted to do! I work for the better business bureau of Central & Eastern Ky. & I would never go any where else to do this, the staff is fun,and go out of there way to make this a fun experience,I had the time of my life..I jumped on 03/29/2008. This is something I will remember doing and hope to tell my grandkids about one day(far away)I just can't say enough!"

"This was the greatest experience of my life! I was nervous during certain times, but the people were really friendly and helped calm my nerves. The people here are really easy-going and like to joke around a lot, which is always helpful. I've recommended this place to all of my friends and am looking forward to going back ASAP!"

"Skydiving is something I've always said that I wanted to do before I die, my husband gave me a gift certificate for Christmas - my first thought, "am I dying soon?" my second thought - YES! This was my first time - tandem. Jim was a great trainer and Larry, my instructor, Dan did video. No hamming up for the camera here - my mouth is stuck in a permanent smile! I'll be back!"

"Took my first 3 jumps ever (AFF) in Kentucky, these guys know perfectly how to work in a relaxed comfortable friendly way, make you feel welcome, joke around and share their enthusiasm, yet still clearly demonstrate a professional attitude towards safety that helps a lot when you are about to do one of the craziest things you have ever done in your life!!! Great bunch of people, awesome experience.."
   -- pfasips
"What a bunch of friendly folks. These guys still offer a drop zone where you will feel welcome and comfortable whatever your experience level. Jump fleet consists of a Cessna 180 and 182 and a King Air 90. Staff and instructors are courteous and professional, and they offer a full line of services."

"There are places in the world that you know the moment you walked into the door your a part of something special. This DZ is one of them. The staff and community are the core of this DZ. I'm not sure if the skydiving or the conversations were more fun. This is one DZ where you don't feel like your just another number getting put through the grinder. And its the extra effort everyone puts forward that ensures that you not only skydive safely, but that you actually have a good time doing it. Great instructors from the ground to the air. Brought my 62 year old father to jump for his first time and he had the time of his life. And its not effort thats only directed towards the jumpers either. Mad props to Shawn for talking to my mother and wife after the jumps helping to ease their fears and apprehensions when he could have simply packed up and gone home. It's that extra effort that makes this DZ special, and its worth any drive to experience it."

"I had the time of my life. These guys were so much fun and made the experience that much better. I felt safe and excited the whole time. Can't wait to do it again and bring more friends."

"Did my 3rd tandem jump. Larry was very professional and lots of fun. Great place to jump. King Air is a great plane but miss the sound of that big radial engine on the Beaver. And excellent job on photos and video!"

"Thank you for an INCREDIBLE first jump and the butter-smooth landing that followed :) Incidentally, working on the top floor of a high rise isn't very impressive anymore. I'll be back when the money gods allow. Cheers!"

"Awesome staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Instructors went out of their way to put me at ease and make me feel comfortable. Very laid back and safe atmosphere. Facility was great! Looking forward to the next jump."

"The Staff at Skydive Kentucky were extremely professional, flexible, and helpful, helping 14 soldiers in my Army Reserve Unit get started in their Static-line program. They were able to work around our busy schedule and regularly demonstrated an attitude of 'Come on out, we'll get you up into the air." The regular jumpers at Skydive Kentucky were also very helpful, working me into various loads, which is something I always notice when I visit a new drop zone. I was especially impressed with the affordability of their student program. They are in the DZ business for the long haul, by recruiting an retaining new jumpers into USPA, rather than the quick buck, and it convinced most of my 14 friends to jump again. A King Air that flies during the week when enough jumpers show to make a load... YEAH! Plus, their 'early bird' King Air jumps Saturday and Sunday morning are a reason to get to the DZ bright and early. Rock on!"

"Skydive KY is a great place to go to hang out, talk to other jumpers, meet people and learn a lot about the sport! A+ service, 2 great airplanes and the prices are reasonable. See you this weekend!"

"Today was my very first tandem jump at Skydive Kentucky! I had the most amazing time! The staff made me feel welcome from the first moment I stepped in the door. I was a bit nervous about jumping out of a perfectly good plane, but the staff made me feel comfortable and safe. Greg made me feel calm as possible when hanging from an airplane. Nick was a hilarious videographer!! Everyone had me laughing all day long. The staff did their best to make sure everyone had an awesome experience. We were not let down! No one could talk about anything else all day! I am anxiously awaiting my video and pictures! For the raw footage I saw, they are going to be great! I can't wait to jump again...maybe even work toward my own license, who knows!"

"We had a group of 8, all doing our first tandem skydive. It was awesome! The staff and crew were super nice and helpful. They knew what they were doing and made us feel at ease. I would recommend them to anyone. We had the best time. Greg was my "jumpmaster" and my "best friend for the day". Believe it or not I was not scared at all! I also had my jump videoed so Nick jumped with us. He was a hoot. All 8 of us are still talking about this day. We are already making plans to do it again and taking more people with us."

"I've never been sky diving before. So I went for the experience of falling out of a plane. I never expected the experience of the service I got when I was there. Great Staff, Knowledgeable and helpful the entire time. Accommodating to my wishes. Now, I have two great memories, not just one."

"Mr. Moore. My sky diving experience there Sunday was awesome. You and your wife were most gracious and your staff was nothing short of professional. Our Jack Russell Scout also loved the attention from everyone. The whole thing was a lot of fun and I look forward to my next jump June 5th. Thanks again!!"

"This dropzone is exactly what fun jumpers look for in a DZ. I stopped in to make a jump and I was treated as if I had jumped there for years. It is nice to show up at a dropzone and get right on a load, and not feel like you are second class to tandem passengers. The Beaver was an awesome jump experience, and I cannot wait to go back!"
   --Dryan Holliday
"This was one of the only DZ's that has ever made me feel welcome. It did not matter if I did great or made a mistake at anything, they still welcomed me with open arms. I will always consider you guys as my family. Thanks for welcoming me into your family and home."

First guys I call, Skydive Kentucky. I talked to Jim, very nice guy he says come on out will jump yeah. Theses guys make you feel like your part of the family. Had a cool time. Thanks Jim, Larry, Shawn, Greg, and Nick! I will be back for another jump. You want to jump in Kentucky this is the DZ. Thanks guys will see yeah again."

This new DZ is not as "rustic" as the old one, but the upgrades only add to the experience. The burgers are not bad, either. Definitely worth the trip! Go make some new friends!"

"Jim... thanks for the advice I really appreciate it ... I began my skydiving adventure jumping tandem with Shawn and Jeff flew the camera... Everyone there was so nice to my family and me that day I decided to learn more... Skydiving is a great community of which to be a part...I dive at TSS and Larry is super to me and my son Josh (he is 25 and has cerebral palsy) Larry and the guys treat him like everyone else and that is a very good thing indeed... he loves to just go and hang at the DZ... Everyone there and Jeff as well speaks highly of you man... So I really do appreciate the help and the time you give me... Have read articles and talked with people who tell me that at some DZ's low number jumpers like me (@35) are treated poorly... NOT the case at my DZ or yours... It is a very cool thing to have people like you, Jeff, Larry and all (and I do mean all) the guys at my DZ to treat me and my son so very well... It is exciting to be a part of this... You guys are great ambassadors for the sport... Keep up the good work... and yes you know I will be coming back to you for advice. Hope to get over to your DZ this summer and have you open the door so I can get out... damn I do love exits. Thanks again Jim"

"There are places in the world that you know the moment you walked into the door your a part of something special. This DZ is one of them. The staff and community are the core of this DZ. I'm not sure if the skydiving or the conversations were more fun. This is one DZ where you don't feel like you're just another number getting put through the grinder. And it's the extra effort everyone puts forward that ensures that you not only skydive safely, but that you actually have a good time doing it. Great instructors from the ground to the air. Brought my 62-year-old father to jump for his first time and he had the time of his life. And its not effort that's only directed towards the jumpers either. Mad props to Shawn for talking to my mother and wife after the jumps helping to ease their fears and apprehensions when he could have simply packed up and gone home. That extra effort makes this DZ special, and its worth any drive to experience it."

"You guys are the best. Had a great time from the time I got hooked up in that cute little get up to zero G in the plane to jumping out headfirst and the free ride with Jim. (Jim I love my new word). You all made it a great experience and I can't wait to come visit KY again and come back to see you all! All my nurse friends will think I've lost my mind but I will remember you always!"

"This is the most accessible drop zone I've been to for helping new students begin to Skydive. The Staff at Skydive Kentucky were extremely professional, flexible, and helpful, helping 14 soldiers in my Army Reserve Unit get started in their Static-line program. They were able to work around our busy schedule and regularly demonstrated an attitude of "Come on out, we'll get you up into the air." The regular jumpers at Skydive Kentucky were also very helpful, working me into various loads, which is something I always notice when I visit a new drop zone. YEAH! Plus, their 'early bird' King Air jumps Saturday and Sunday morning are a reason to get to the DZ early. Rock on!"

"Great facility with indoor packing. Fantastic interaction among skill levels; beginners and visitors are invited to jump with regulars and very experienced jumpers, and all in between. Very friendly bunch of people. Even spectators are welcomed."

"What a fantastic day!! Everybody was so friendly and helpful. Paul and Larry were great to work with. Got some great video and pictures too! We will definitely be back! The whole experience ended up being very comfortable and most of all, FUN!"

"I can't wait to get back and do it all over again. Everyone there was super cool - plan to come back and stay :) I thought that this would be my first and last jump. Figured I would get it out of my system. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? I'm a mother of four and can't wait to come back and be certified to do it alone! You guys are great and I'd love to get more of my friends to come out and try it. Suggestion: PLEASE come up with a cling-on type advertisement for my car window (I can't make myself put the bumper sticker on my car). Will never forget the plane ride up - you all are as sick as I am! Thanks a ton Jim - loved jumping with you. See you guys again!"

"I'm new to the sport, but couldn't imagine a better place to jump. The people are friendly, encouraging, extremely helpful, and committed to making everyone's skydiving experience fun and safe. I haven't seen a single person leave the DZ disappointed. The instructors make sure everyone gets the most out of every jump and are a pleasure to jump with. The student training here is excellent. Everyone takes an interest in student training and does whatever they can to assist in the learning process. They are eager to answer questions and pass on their knowledge to beginners; and there is a LOT of knowledge and experience at this DZ. I want to thank everyone at Skydive KY for being so helpful and dedicated to this great sport. A special thank you to Shawn Barnett who's AFF training has been superb. All I can say is he is GOOD. A special thanks also to Larry and Jim for their instruction during my tandem jumps and to Jim again for running this great facility and attracting such good people if you are thinking about jumping here, do it!"

"I had a fantastic experience in my first tandem skydive. It was extremely fun and the staff made the whole thing easy. I have not stopped talking about it! The staff, especially my tandem instructor Larry, went over and beyond all expectations. They were friendly and professional. The video is fantastic, too. I cannot wait to do it again and I have been recommending Skydive Kentucky to everyone I know. Thanks!"

"Great place to learn to skydive. Lots of one on one help, and lots of other experienced jumpers."

"What an experience!! This was a Christmas gift and by far the best present EVER!! I had the time of my life. The staff was awesome. Jim was great. Professionalism was everywhere. The knowledge and experience the staff had made me and my family comfortable with the jump. I will recommend Skydive to everyone and I will be back to jump again SOON!! Thanks to all involved. The pictures and video were awesome!"

"Skydive Kentucky in Elizabethtown is the most inviting DZ I have ever jumped at. Jim and his crew was every bit of hospitable, friendly, fun, and laid back. You certainly will not be just another face in the crowd. Skydive Kentucky is not the biggest facility you have ever been to, but there is a nice indoor packing area with plenty of room for the number of jumpers present. There is a variety of levels of experience, so you can find friends to jump at your level, or friends that can get you to the next. It is a non-aggressive environment, that is, you can approach everyone on the DZ and you won't have to feel bad for lack of experience or time at the DZ."
   --Colin G
"I would recommend this dropzone to anyone! The people there are highly experienced, and very pleasant to fall 1200 feet with!"

"My husband Steve and I went to Skydive KY for our very first skydives. Jim (owner), Greg (photographer), Mike (tandem diver), and nick (photographer) were all very friendly and helpful. They did a wonderful job of giving us all the relevant information, while really making us feel at ease (well, as much at ease as is possible when you're contemplating your first jump out of a plane!). Greg was very friendly and quick to engage in conversation as if we were old friends - the same with Jim (one of the owners, I believe). Mike, who was my tandem, was extremely professional and courteous, and was very patient with me. Nick has a great sense of humor and really added some levity to what was a very nervous morning. They showed us Fort Knox as we were up in the plane, and Mike showed me how to steer the parachute as we were up in the air. He was very interested in really TEACHING me, so I could do it again, rather than just giving me a ride. The con was that there was no bathroom, just port-a-potties (although those were very clean and non-smelly) - this can be kind of a big deal if you're nervous and you have to pee every 20 minutes, like we did...or if you have to wait 3 hours from the time you get there to go up in a plane (as we did, because of the weather). Altogether, I’d definitely dive with these guys again. In fact, I was ready to go a second time as soon as I hit the ground!"

"Before I could even walk in the door and set my gear down at Skydive Kentucky, I felt like I was at my home DZ. At least two of the staff welcomed me as soon as I walked in when they recognized that I was new to the DZ. They made me feel comfortable and right at home, including me in jumps and after hour activities right away. I was told that the first rule at Skydive Kentucky is "Have Fun" and it really is!!! (besides safety) I had a awesome time! I went there by myself just to jump because a lot of the DZ around the mid east are closed for the winter, but not Skydive KY. I was shocked when the DZO (JIM) offered to go on a 2-way with me just so I wouldn't have to jump by myself on my first visit!!! The King Air got me to full altitude quickly on every jump, and they have a very good size landing area. This is a dropzone that welcomes up jumpers with open arms for sure, since I have been going there this winter the DZO has gone above and beyond for us to get the plane off the ground. I would recommend this DZ for anyone who loves to skydive, hangout with fun people, and is willing to feel comfortable at a DZ with NO CLIQUES!!!!!"

"Thanks again for the awesome ride and all the time that you donated to us. So far, it's one of the most memorable days of my life. I forgot to put it on my paperwork that someone directed me to your website. I know you mentioned referrals so I thought I would drop you a note to let you know that Jacob was originally the person that directed me toward your website and ultimately is why I ended up at your awesome business!! I just wanted to let you know that. Have a great day, great week, great everything and I will see you in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!!"

"As it was my first time jumping, DZO Jim and cameraman Dan made it all worthwhile to me. I had a great time and think that everyone needs to go to Skydive Kentucky and try it. Everyone there was so nice to me and made me feel comfortable about my first time jump. It was the biggest rush for me. And I would go there and do it all over again. I highly recommend this place for skydiving and I will go back again as soon as I can. Thank you Jim and Dan for the time of my life that day..."
